Healthcare IT Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development:  Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to position healthcare technology platforms effectively across hospitals, healthcare systems, government entities, and private sector organizations.

Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their operational needs and aligning solutions to enhance adoption, satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.

Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis. Design and implement strategies to expand presence in priority healthcare markets and regions.

Solution Positioning: Partner with product and technical teams to clearly articulate the value proposition of solutions, ensuring alignment with client priorities such as scalability, interoperability, compliance, and innovation.

Proposal Development :Lead the development of compelling proposals, RFP responses, and executive presentations that demonstrate how solutions meet client requirements and regulatory expectations.

Partnership Collaboration: Collaborate with industry partners, system integrators, and alliances to strengthen solution offerings and enhance market positioning.

Revenue Growth & Deal Closure: Consistently achieve revenue targets by managing the full sales lifecycle, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals that foster long-term partnerships.

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Ensure all sales strategies and client engagements align with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and data privacy requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage internal cross-functional teams, healthcare leadership, and external stakeholders to align sales initiatives with broader business and community objectives.

Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts, maintain pipeline visibility, track performance metrics, and provide structured reporting to leadership.

 

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 6–10 years of experience in technology sales or business development, including at least 4 years in digital health solutions such as EMR, HIS, LIS, QMS, or related healthcare platforms. Experience in Incident, Risk management & Infection control solutions is preferred.

Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building trusted relationships within the healthcare ecosystem.

Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare operations, accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, NABH), and interoperability frameworks (FHIR, HL7, CDA).

Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling value propositions for clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

Negotiation & Closing Skills: Proven capability in contract negotiation, deal structuring, and closing mutually beneficial agreements.

Certifications (Preferred): Professional certifications in sales or business development (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) and/or healthcare technology credentials.
